Ozarde Waterfall is a stunning natural waterfall located in the Koyna
Wildlife Sanctuary, near the village of Ozarde in the Satara district of
Maharashtra. It is one of the lesser-known yet beautiful waterfalls in the

enthusiasts. The waterfall is surrounded by dense forest, adding to its

Ozarde Waterfall is located near the Koyna Nagar area in the Satara
district. It is nestled within the Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary, a UNESCO World

The waterfall is about 40 km from Satara town.

Monsoons (June to September): The best time to visit, as the waterfall is in

"Making of Koyna Dam" - Documentary screening at 11:00 am and 5:00 PM

Koyna Wild Life Sanctuary - The wild life sanctuary is a
heaven for exotic flora and fauna. One can look and wonder at the
treasures of the jungle. Beetles to birds and creepers to teaks it is
the home of rare species of animals and plants.
Tiger Sanctuary Recently Koyna-Chandoli area has been
selected for the upcoming Tiger Sanctuary. As per recent count, there
are 9 Tigers and 66 Leopards (Bibtya) identified in this region.
