Climate/Weather:

Summers (March to June): Warm and dry, with temperatures reaching 35°C. Monsoons (June to September): The best time to visit, as the waterfall is in full flow, and the region receives heavy rainfall. Winters (November to February): Cool and pleasant, with temperatures ranging from 12°C to 25°C, ideal for trekking and exploring.

Koyna Wild Life Sanctuary - The wild life sanctuary is a heaven for exotic flora and fauna. One can look and wonder at the treasures of the jungle. Beetles to birds and creepers to teaks it is the home of rare species of animals and plants.

Tiger Sanctuary Recently Koyna-Chandoli area has been selected for the upcoming Tiger Sanctuary. As per recent count, there are 9 Tigers and 66 Leopards (Bibtya) identified in this region.
